Frequently asked questions about the Riva Auto Attendant

Is much training required?
No, to utilize just the basic entry level control of the system no special training is required. Wizards, which are provided, can be utilized to activate some of the more advanced features of the system, such as generating and adding your logo, tag line, or welcome messages on the entry screen.

Can the system print guest passes?
The basic system does not include a printer, but this is one of many options available at the time of purchase or later.

Is the reception station limited to one location?
No, multiple locations are supported.

Is a record keep of all entry requests, and approvals?
Absolutely, providing an excellent way to look back in time in case of an incident.

Can the receptionist be in another building?
Yes, provided that data can be transmitted between the two locations.

What would you say is the most important feature of the system?
Safety; no one functions in an unsecured environment. Guests cannot make physical contact with students, educators, or staff without requesting and receiving entry approval. The remotely located receptionist must approve entry, and electronically disengage   door locks.
